Have you opted not to have your other kids tested? We have not had our 2 year old tested, but thankfully my husband and I both tested negative as well...
I had the opposite TrialNet result, but the same age insult vibe. I am desirable as a test subject because I am so wicked old (42!) w/ antibodies.
But would a T1 diagnosis make me feel young? Or would I just have so much, "But...you're so old! How could you have T1?" that it would make me feel old? I would probably wind up as an anecdote about how this EXTREMELY OLD lady was diagnosed.
Yay for no autoantibodies!!!! As for "old"? They don't know what they are talking about.

ReplyDeleteThe other two are just too young right now. Maybe when they're older. I haven't decided yet.

Shut the door.
I think they just put that "age requirement" thing for anyone who is an adult. Mine said the same thing, I am still in my 20's.
