Glad you're feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI really dont take what drs say seriously . He is a baby for christs sake they do those sort of things I hate labeling people . Because my brother was scared of crowds they labeled him with an anxiety disorder . It peed me off . STOP LABELING PEOPLE DRS!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd you make my heart happy, Joanne!
ReplyDeleteOh Joanne!!! I'm just catching up on your blog! I'm so sorry! It's sounds like you've been having a heck of a time lately!!!
ReplyDeleteThe nursing issues alone would drive me bonkers! Addison went on a nursing strike for 4 days when she was 9 months old, I was so worried she would starve herself, she refused a bottle and I forced breastmilk down her with a syringe, I was a wreck the entire time! Is it that he flat out refuses to nurse or just isn't getting enough??
I wouldn't worry too much about that crazy dr either, our dr recommend physical therapy for Addison because she's not walking or crawling yet, I don't think she needs therapy! Not every baby walks at 12 months!!!
Anywho, praying for you! Hope things get better SOON!!!
I so love a mother who trusts her own instincts instead of just going with the status quo. Professional help can help, of course, but it is so common to diagnose children very quickly these days, Frontline did a special on the increase of dianoses for be-polar disorder in children that will knock your socks off. I also highly recommend the book Raising Cain for mothers of boys in regard to some of these issues.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment on my post and it's always great to get to know another James fan! I do read your blog and love it but have trouble finding time to comment sometimes.
